At Homecarers Care Services, we nominate a Carer of the Month each month for both our Cheshire and Liverpool branches. This is to celebrate outstanding work from our care staff, and to appreciate all the amazing service our carers provide to our incredible service users.
As we are halfway through 2024, let’s recap shall we?
January
Liverpool
Grace Ramalho – Grace has received fabulous feedback from a family member of one of our service users, stating “Grace really understands Mum’s Dementia and finds ways to communicate on good and bad days, always with a smile”.
Cheshire
Jess McCauley – Jess works for our Chester branch. She is extremely dedicated to the clients, will move to any area to help cover calls and is always on hand to help, goes above and beyond for every client and is extremely thorough in each and every one of her care calls.
February
Liverpool
Kelsey King – we received incredible feedback from the family member of one of our service users, stating “The way Kelsey cared for my mum on the day of my dad’s funeral was amazing. You can tell that Kelsey cares about the service users, anyone who gets Kelsey as a carer is a lucky person”. This is just one instance of outstanding service that Kelsey provides each day to our service users.
Cheshire
Christine Holmes – Christine works for our Winsford branch – due to her exceptional care provided and a keen eye for detail, she was nominated for this award for the month of February. She has supported the branch when needed and reports everything in professional detail. We know she goes above and beyond and ensures every client has everything they need.
March
Liverpool
Natalie Agger – Natalie has been working for us for over 20 years, and always goes above and beyond her role every day, providing the best service possible. She even recommends others wanting to start their career in care to work with us, bringing on 2 new starters to join our incredible care team!
Cheshire
Andrea Cooper – Andrea works for our Abbots Wood extra-care service; she always goes the extra mile, helps and supports the staff and always picks up calls at a minute notice. She has also helped to support other schemes, by finding cover and coaching the new senior, and supporting other seniors at other branches. All this while doing her level 3 and progressing as a senior herself – she is an all-round team player.

Liverpool
Michael Metcalfe – Michael has recently received some excellent feedback whilst working the night shifts, with service users and their families stating ‘He is a really good carer – he is absolutely amazing at what he does’.
Cheshire
Adele Tyson – Adele works for our Chester branch. She is amazing, she consistently goes above and beyond for all service users, she builds up great relationships and delivers exceptional personal centred care.
