Valentine’s is a celebration that emphasises connection and appreciation, whether this be between partners, friends or family and we’d like to extend this celebration to our care team. At Homecarers Care Services, we have care staff across the North West that make sure our service users are cared for and remain as independent as possible. This Valentine’s Day, we’re proud to recognise the talent, professionalism and compassion that define our team and the incredible support they provide.
The Heart of Our Organisation
Our carers are at the heart of everything too, supporting our service users first hand mentally and physically. By understanding each service user’s unique needs, our carers provide expert support that truly makes a difference.
We offer thorough online and in-person training and shadowing (with one of our experienced members) to all our new starters. This means that whether our staff had prior care experience or not, they are ready to start their role.
Before our service users start receiving our care, our office team ensure personalised care plans are in place. This ensures all requirements and preferences are accommodated, and assures service users feel comfortable and secure. With these care plans, our care staff know how to approach service users to ensure they feel safe. Safety is especially important, as we understand how difficult it can be accepting a stranger into your home. Whichever services our clients need, whether it’s personal care, compassion ship or something else, our staff know how to respect their dignity and enhance their quality of life.
Care starts with connections. Building a rapport with service users ensures they are comfortable. This relationship creates a safe and supportive environment, making individuals feel seen and herd. In turn, this human connection, combined with our staff’s excellent service, creates the highest quality care.
However, their commitment extends beyond supporting our service users, but strengthens our organisation as a whole. Our incredible care team is the reason we are able to make a difference in the lives of all those we support.
