This month, we are focusing on family ties in Homecarers Care Services, and the unique dynamic of family members working together in care. By highlighting these relationships, we reinforce our commitment to providing top-quality care and fostering a supportive and engaging workplace. We have countless cases of mothers and daughters, siblings, cousins and even grandparents with grandchildren working across the services. This is a nice way to showcase their amazing relationships.
So, this month, we talked to a number of our care staff and office staff who have family ties in Homecarers; mother and daughter, Debbie and Natalie, and grandmother and granddaughter, Janice and Grace.
We asked them about how they continue to inspire each other every day in their roles, and here is what they had to say:
Mother and Daughter
Debbie
Worked with Homecarers since 2015 – Quality Assurance Manager.
“After working with each other for nearly 10 years, I can definitely say that we continue to inspire each other every day in our roles.”
Natalie
Worked with Homecarers since 2014 – Care Assistant
“Even though it has been a while since we worked with each other, as my mum, Debbie, is based in the office whilst I am based in the community, I still believe we inspire each other every day to be the best we can be.”
Grandmother and Granddaughter
Janice
Worked with Homecarers since 2005 – Care Assistant
“When I started working for HCL Grace wasn’t even born. When she was growing up she always said she wanted to work with me never believing that she really would, so whilst I’m nearly finishing my career she’s just starting hers.”
Grace
Worked with Homecarers since March – Care Assistant
“After working here now for 4 months I’m learning more each day. I have met some amazing people and have grown more confident as time has gone on. Whether I’ll be here 20 years later like my Nan remains to be seen but as for now I am happy and and look forward to the future.”
These are just 2 examples of some of the amazing family connections that we have here at Homecarers. We celebrate working with mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, grandparents, nieces, nephews, etc. We know that these connections enforce our company’s welcoming, passionate, and committed environment.
