We are extremely pleased to announce our latest charity partnership – we are now Supportive Members of the Care Workers Charity! This is the only national charity that aims to specifically support healthcare workers.
This is an amazing step forward for the business and supporting all of our staff members even further, especially alongside our employee assistance programme. We believe this will be an incredibly useful tool for our colleagues to utilise going forward for extra support.

Do they offer support with mental health and wellbeing?
Yes! The Care Workers Charity provide a range of support regarding mental health and wellbeing.
Depending on your situation regarding your mental health, The Care Workers Charity offer up to 10 sessions with a qualified therapist, which is paid directly by the CWC. These therapy sessions can help you with common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress and addiction.
In order to apply for up to 10 therapy sessions with The Care Workers Charity you would need the following evidence: either with self-referral (by providing a brief description of what area of mental health you need additional help with, and how the therapy sessions will benefit you) or a letter of support, and employment evidence from your employer. This is just to confirm that you are employed within the care sector. You can obtain a letter of support from either your GP, social worker, CPN, or another regulated professional.
How will Homecarers Care Services help with my application?
Should you apply for a crisis grant, mental health support, therapy sessions, or any other support provided by the Care Workers Charity that requires an application, we will help support you by advising you on the services that are available to you, as well as provide evidence for your employment in the care sector.
