Last week (Saturday 14th May) a group of the girls from Head Office took to Moel Famau to fundraise for the Age International Ukraine Appeal.

Age International is raising money together with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The DEC is a consortium of 15 aid member charities working together in times of disasters and emergencies.

With an initial target of £500, we are very happy to announce we surpassed this target and raised £545.00!!

Our Recruitment Lead, Emma, who took part in the walk was delighted (despite being unable to feel her bottom half afterwards): “I’m so happy we reached our goal. It was a challenge taking the steep route, I could barely walk the day after, but it was worth it to raise money for an important cause!”

We also want to say a huge THANK-YOU to everyone who donated. Your donations are invaluable for the vulnerable people of Ukraine, helping them to provide hygiene kits, food packages and mental health support and counselling.
