Liverpool Victory Parade
The LFC Parade will be taking place on Monday the 26th May.

This may cause disruption due to road closures and open roads maybe congested, consider leaving additional time when travelling through the Liverpool area and consider planning routes based around this.
Some examples of affected roads are:
- Queens Drive
- Mill Bank
- West Derby Road
- Leeds Street
- finishing on Blundell Street

Radio 1 Big Weekender
The Radio 1 Big Weekender will take place from the 23rd May to the 25th May.
Road closures will be put in place to help accommodate for the festival, this is important to be aware of so you can check if you need to plan a different route for travelling in the Liverpool area.
Some examples of affected roads are:
- Aigburth Drive
- Livingston Drive South
- Mossley Hill Drive
- And access to Sefton Park for general public will be from Queens Drive, Elmwood Road and Aigburth Road, close to the boating lake.

Chester Half Marathon
In addition, the Chester Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday the 18th of May, this is also causing road closures but in the Chester area.
Here is an interactive map which will highlight the potential closed roads. This will also allow you to see extra information about the marathon itself.
Access to the city centre will always be available via A483, A540, A5116 and A56.
If you live on the route and know you will need to leave by car during the road closures, it is advised that you move your car away from affected roads before the closure starts.
As a result of these road closures, there may be disruptions to services. However, we are trying our best to reach our service users in a timely manner.
